We can only be said to be ALIVE in those moments when our HEARTS are conscious of our treasures.

Welcome to my webpage and hope you will enjoy my moments I have treasured through my photography.

This is me …

About MeThere are so many memories still to be captured which will form a precious and important part of my life.  I realized the importance of capturing fond memories when I sadly lost both my parents in a short period of time.  To my shocking discovery, I had almost no photographs of them and thus it made me think how we go through life not being able to look at photographs of our loved ones, children and friends and that was the BIGGEST MISTAKE I unknowingly made.

Now I treasure my dad’s old Canon Camera which hangs in my studio, and see everyday when I walk in and remembering the few pics he took of me when I was a youngster.

In the years to follow it became so important to me to treasure special moments that I became so passionate about photography and to share beautiful memories with other people.  The satisfaction of seeing other people happy and “stealing” a photo of them which they were very unaware of, and then sharing it with them!!! The emotion and surprise is so gratifying.

I completed my Diploma in Photography in 2012, and since then as the famous quote states: “DO WHAT YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT AND YOU WILL NEVER WORK ANOTHER DAY IN YOUR LIFE”.  I furthered my studies in 2013 in Food and Wedding Photography.

By doing so, I have not worked a single day that I don’t LOVE what I do.

I have wonderful mentors in the photography business who share their knowledge and support unconditionally and am grateful to each and every one of them.

And then there is Francois, my partner / assistant / second photographer, whom I  share my passion of photography with.  He supports me in everything I do and am so blessed to have someone like him in my life.  If I can say only one thing about him it would be that he can give without remembering and receive without forgetting.

I have two beautiful children whom I love more and more every day.  They add to my day and life a kind of love that no words can express. They love the camera and I have priceless images of them.  Sometimes when they look through my pics, they will start a brand new story about a certain pic and we will relive that moment all over again.

This is a life long learning experience and no matter how young or old we are, please remember to:

Never again will I say, “I cannot”.  God has created a wealth of potential in me and gave me the responsibility to develop it to reign over the vicissitudes of life.
